Sport massage is typically used to alleviate stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissue during physical activity. Often used before, during, and after athletic events, the main aim is to prevent injury, recovery from fatigue, promote flexibility, and to increase performance. Where minor injuries and lesions occur due to overextension and overuse, massage can break them down quickly and effectively. In conjunction with physiotherapy, regular massage has come to be widely used in the management and prevention of injuries in sport. We offer two sports massage treatments:
1. Sports Massage
Standard session (40 mins) - $55 Extended session (60 mins) - $80
A regular sequence of massage and stretches targeting injuries, soreness, joints and muscles for the purpose of enhancing function and performance.
Standard session (30 mins) - $40
One on one session of stretching exercises to reduce muscle tension and enhancing joint and muscle function for exercise events.
